Christmas

After saying goodbye to my family at 10am Christmas morning as they left my house I took a luxurious 4 hour long nap, ate, knitted, watched movies, ate and went to bed.
Day after Christmas I journeyed to the Mall of America to use a gift certificate that my brothers girlfriend gave me for XMAs. I was scared that they wouldn't have the exact pair of shoes that I wanted but they did so I wore them home and all the rest of the day. Score.
My holiday weekend was not so bad. There was a lot of terydactyl, eardrum exploding,screeching by a boy named Damien and his younger sister. A person I had heretofore trusted used her powers of passive-aggression to reduce me to a wimpering, insecure, spineless wimp. Oh well, I guess you take that chance any time you willingly choose to spend time with extended family.
Fortunately, once I left my aunts house her powers lost their effect.
I had some pretty good late night gin and rummy with my brother and his girlfriend. I am always concerned after drinking with people that I made a complete ass of myself really just because I talk freely and with no reservation. Well, nobody has ever said much about it other than I am cute and sometimes prone to friskiness.
So, back to work and thank God for work. Its not an awesome job but it gets me out of the house for 12 hours to do something I don't have to think much about as long as I show up.
Hopefully this weekend I will get to spend some time with some of my cool friends that I haven't seen in a while.
Oohh, time to sleep, must sleep.
